Università Bocconi is hosting the “XVIII Convegno italo-spagnolo-francese di Teoria del diritto”. This annual conference brings together legal scholars from the Mediterranean countries, but also benefits from the attendance of scholars from South America. The conference lasts two days and conventionally ends with a roundtable, which this year will be on “Economic Models and Legal Science”. The aim is to address the relationship between law and the economy from a legal perspective and to specifically examine the way in which economic models are used or can be used as a tool for the knowledge of law. All this will constitute a starting point for a redefinition of the role that “Law & Economics”, as a subject, plays in contemporary legal contexts.
